Xmas Lights
December 21st, 2007 - Sandra MarshallCalled in at Grand Plaza on the way to the airport last night and was actually quite impressed by the array of Xmas lights inside and out. Compared to the rather low key ones here in Almerimar and also in El Ejido it was all very flash! There were lots of people out and about but still nowhere near the crowds you would get in UK shopping centres at this time of year … very refreshing! I can still remember from years ago the policemen in Oxford Street whose job for the day was to shout continually through a megaphone “keep on the pavements”!!!
