Ok so I decided that Thursday evening was quiet because everyone had done their partying at lunchtime, but Saturday night is supposed to be a little busy surely?

Well not in November in Almerimar.

We wandered out for a drink around our usual time of 10pm ish and this time the square seemed even more deserted, with only a few people visible in a couple of the bars. Next time maybe we will have to check out the ‘music’ bars over the other side as I did bump into a Spanish friend in the morning who was moaning about his head following his 2 day ‘hoilday’ which definitely didn´t seem to have happened in the square.

November is definitely the lull after the summer, before things pick up again towards Xmas, but I do tend to forget exactly how quiet it is here in the winter.
