Winter Coffee

Yesterday morning the whole square seemed deserted as only the Milenio was open for coffee. However it had the advantage that everyone was in the same place. I was meeting one friend for coffee and during the course of the morning met up with I think 8 others! It reminded me of about 6 years ago when Kenny’s Irish Bar was the only ‘English’ one around. We still went to the Spanish bars a lot, but if we fancied an unplanned chat, on any evening it was highly likely there would we someone we knew in there. Summer here is busier and definitely has more atmosphere, but Winter is somehow cosier and more friendly!
