………. the cats will play, and play, and play!!!

Just back from dropping Sands at the airport, and facing 12 days on my own with just the cats to keep me company. So what am I going to do? Am I going to adhere to the theory that you do all the things that you don’t get to do when your partner is around?

You bet I am!!!!

So what does that mean exactly? Well this is where Sands and I are as different as chalk and cheese. As you will know from reading this blog when I am away Sands tends to fill her time with people - coffees, lunches, dinner, you name it she just loves being out and about socialising.

Me? Well I am the exact opposite. My idea of perfection will be to close the door for 12 days and with the exception of buying in food (reckon that will require two trips to the supermarket in the 12 days), tennis with Lee (3 games scheduled), running (must do that most days), and maybe some football training if we get a team together (which looks promising) I will hardly venture out I reckon.

I really want to spend a lot of time with Moreno and Saidi, as with all my recent trips I feel like I haven’t seen that much of them. They are most active in the mornings so I reckon I will be up on the roof most mornings playing ball. I have one technology project to work on around the house for when Sands gets back with the second video card for my Mac, and I have a ton of films to watch and transfer over to the Mac.

I have a mountain of books to read, so that should get me up on the roof and in the sun a bit which I need - is weird but the longer I live in Spain the less time I seem to spend in the sun.

I want to spend some time on the Wii and PS2 (anybody want to play?)

Then there is the blog - there is so much that we are working on at the moment both content and commercial that it could easily absorb all of our time. There are more offers to add, which will require some interesting behind the scenes changes, and some new contributors to introduce, so watch this space as they say!

And then there is work!!!!

Dubai stuff is busier than ever and requires attention every day, several times a day. The UK contract finishes at the end of the month, but we are talking about extending it for another year. The web development, SEO and affiliate work for the local company here is getting busier and busier, and for some weird reason I am getting more requests to help with PC and IT issues than ever before. It is great - before you know it I will be working full time again.

And of course, Sunday at 4pm I will be watching Wigan v Man Utd in the hope (and belief) that we will lift the cup yet again!!

So I would say ’see you around’ but I doubt that I will - although I reckon there will be a lot of activity on the blog over the next 12 days.
