We´ve mentioned before the problem of stray animals in Almerimar, and although we´d love them all to be adopted and find good homes, sometimes that just isn´t possible. So I´m passing on some information that I picked up the other day.

Apparently there is some sort of “cat rescue” organisation. I don´t have any specific details and I can´t say for sure what actually happens to the animals but these people are willing to come and pick up unwanted cats.

I am told that the veterinaria has more info so that should be the first point of call for anyone who needs help details below:

Begoña speaks pretty good English and has always been very helpful to us. Calle Barlovento is on the last roundabout before the road heads up the hill out of Almerimar.
