This Week In Almerimar 080630
June 30th, 2008 - Chris MarshallWell last week was all about the Football and drinking , with no exercise at all, so it will be hard to beat that this week!!
Actually not 100% accurate as I did start playing tennis again, so intend to do that at least a couple of times a week, and mad as it seems in this weather I am going to be jogging and cycling again very soon.
Looking at the Evenmts Calendar the Animación En La Playa De Almerimar starts on Tuesday so there are a lot of Pilates, Football and Tennis sessions planned throughout the month.
I also spent some time during the week tidying up the video library for the movies that we have on the computer. We currently have in excess of 530 movies on hard drive of which over 120 we haven’t watched, so I guess that is something that we should rectify over the rest of the year.
What To Do With Two Teenage Girls In Almerimar
Sands niece (Laura) arrives with her friend Stephanie tomorrow. I have seen Laura twice in the last 16 years and never met Stephanie so it could be an interesting time. As much as anything I reckon that we will get a chance to sample beach life a little more than usual, including the music bars no doubt (if the youngsters can keep pace that is!!!)
In a way it is a shame that they weren’t here this week with the Football, , and Feria y Fiesta De San Isidro but at least this week they can check out the new chiringuito run by Horacio and Shannon on the beach behind the AR Hotel (Coco Beach). If they don’t want a day on the beach on the sunbeds, then I guess they can check out the recently re opened Piramide that offers free membership, Wii consoles, US style food, pool, table football and other such activity for children - well they could if they were under 18!!!
At least they can play table tennis, Wii and PS2 here in the apartment - maybe just the excuse I need to buy Guitar Hero and Wii Fit!!!!!!
I know that Sands is going to take them up to Casa De Los Gatos with her when she goes to help out (which she does once a week at the moment), and they can take their turn helping feed and befriend the little kitten we are trying to catch.
And if they want to earn some petrol money ……..
