This Week In Almerimar 080414
April 14th, 2008 - Chris MarshallWell I guess more accurately this should be called This Week in Dubai as a) that is where I am at the moment and b) Sands is still without a router in the apartment and is entertaining her mother for the week, as well as looking after Moreno and Saidi, so hasn’t been as active blog wise as normal.
Anyway first up HAPPY BIRTHDAY MORENO!!! He is 2 today and I am not happy about being away for his party.
On the blog front I have finally updated the Events Calendar on Google, so take a look and if you can send us details of events, or even better just add them to the calendar.

I could possibly have been tempted out of golfing retirement for the Báhia San Miguel Golf Society ‘away day’ at Desert Springs on the 20th, but as I will still be in Dubai we will never know!
Apart from that I don’t think there is much on the ‘news’ front? The marina is by all accounts getting busier, but the roadworks still frustrate (it really is best to walk down if you can), and the work on the golf hotel is typically slow!
As for me, I will be in Dubai for another week. At the moment I am holed up in a apartment on The Palm crunching through a load of IT stuff as every time I come over I seem to get another Mac media network to set up. On Wednesday my colleague arrives and we will then have a pretty intensive 4 day thrash on the work front as I am taking on a few accounts directly now which will be good.
