This Week In Almerimar 080407
April 7th, 2008 - Chris MarshallSo much for my ‘prediction’ last week that I was planning a quite week!
With two birthday lunches (Lisa and Chris), a visit to La Bahia (where they raised another £26 for Cancer Research with the second 2nd hand book sale), a great day out with John Witham and the birds, and a few drinks along the way with people that are heading back to the UK for the summer it has been a somewhat hectic week. Didn’t even have time to call in and see what the D Bar looks like now that John & Olga have done it up, but will call in when I get back as I have heard that they are now offering a wider food menu.
We did manage to find time for a great breakfast at La Plaza where we always bump into some people that we know.
Sands has made some great steps forward with the strays and the Casa De Los Gatos seems like a tremendous option.
And of course we posted the coverage from EjidoTV on the site.
What does this week hold in store? Well I still haven’t got my act together on the new Events Calendar but I will soon I promise.

I think Sands is considering going with her Mother who comes over in the week for a week. As for me, well I am off to the UK later today for a couple of days to work, and then on to Dubai for 10 days or so to work. My current plan (hope) is that I will be able to lock myself away in the apartment, catch up on my sleep, exercise and all the stuff I need to do for the blog – but knowing me I will get sidetracked as usual.
