Chelsea hammered the Boro in the most convincing performance of the week. I have a strong feeling that this could be the season that Boro go down having been so uninspiring for so long now? They could (maybe should) be joined by Newcastle, who I fully expect to lose at Man City tomorrow.

Liverpool it seems were lucky according to Francis who was at the game, and Rooney continued his excellent form for Man Utd. Lot of dull draws around this week, but Hull got a good win and the Stoke game (and win) against a terrible Spurs was entertaining to watch.

What price then Boro, Newcastle and Spurs for the drop? Interesting that all are established and the talk of the Championship teams going straight down isn’t happening this year!
