Supporting Spain in Euro 2008
June 4th, 2008 - Chris MarshallThe TV in the UK is running a series of ads asking who people are going to support in Euro 2008 with England not qualifying. To be honest that is a really easy one for me - Spain of course!!
I was interested though to read in the Telegraph that Spain “is the country which, while playing host to Europe’s most historically powerful league, has not won an international tournament since 1964.”
That makes them worse than England! The crux of the article was that we Brits need to be careful about supporting Spain in case they win and push us even further back down the league of underperforming football nations!
So who are you going to support?
