Sunny Sunday

March 16th, 2008 - Sandra Marshall

Gosh that was hot! We decided this morning to walk down to the port for a late breakfast as it is such a beautiful sunny day. The Square was fairly busy and whilst I was there in my jeans and long-sleeved black T-shirt, others were in shorts catching the Spring sun. I had my usual tostada with butter and jam and coffee, while Chris went for another Bahia bacon tostada, which he said was just as good as the last one. We thought about staying on for a beer, but I actually needed to come home and change into something cooler, and after the walk back up-hill I was even warmer. This has now spurred Chris into digging out his Summer clothes, but I’ll probably wait another week as the switchover is a task I usually hate!

I’m glad that the weather is warming up at just the right time for my visit. I look forward to arriving on Friday afternoon.
I can smell the bacon cooking from here!

    Hasta pronto!

Yep hotting up nicely … I was almost tempted to hit my sun roof this afternoon!

I think we may well be out for lunch on Friday afternoon, which means in the marina after so depending on when you arrive if you want a coffee? Probably best if you email me your mobile number if you have one, or at least touch base and I will email you my number so you can call.

If Friday not a good time then just let s know when is a good time to catch up - we have no plans as usual :-)

How about a lunchtime coffee in the sqauare on Friday lunchtime. I will be in or around the new Bahía between 11.00am and 1.00pm (or later if the beer is cold!!).

No mobile. I have resisted for this long. I find it liberating to be uncontactable. It doesn’t seem to hold me back in my day to day life.

Just about to head for the airport. Arriving in Granada at 6.00am, followed by a nice downhill drive into town. It is blowing a gale here in Liverpool, and is cold with it!

    Roll on tomorrow.

    Hasta manana hombre!

Will try. I have been ill all week and only reason I am up now is Sands is fed up with me coughing!!!

A coffee around 11.30 should be fine.
