Mac Gowan’s - The large covered terrace.

Located in the popular and busy Dársena 3, Mac Gowan’s is the only Irish Bar-Restaurant in Almerimar. Naturally it serves great pints of Guiness and Murphy’s, but it is also popular as one of the few places you can get a pint of draft Cider. Lager and a large selection of spirits and other drinks will pretty much sort out any thirst you have.

As for your stomach there is a full international menu to keep you busy, including Prime Black Angus Steaks, Authentic Indian Curries, Irish Breakfasts, Mixed leaf Salads, Schnitzel, Daily Specials and free Tapas.

This is a very popular bar both with people that live here in Almerimar and people over on vacation and golf trips. It combines the ‘comforts of home’ with the ‘benefits of Spain’ perfectly, and with it’s ability to provide tables for large group bookings it caters for pretty much everyones tastes.

Using only fresh quality products, prepared on the premises a typical three course meal will cost about 20€.

Opening Hours: Sat-Sun 12-02,00, Mon-Fri 12,00 - 16,00 18,00 - 01,00., Tel: 950 60 95 46

Signs - To help you decide what to drink

Whenever I fancy a pint of Guiness Mac Gowan’s is invariably where I end up, especially on Christmas Day, St Patrick’s Day, and often to watch a Rugby match, where the knowledgeable (and vocal) regulars - especially the local Rugby Club - make for a great day.
