Sands on EjidoTV!!!

March 31st, 2008 - Chris Marshall

The success of the Treasure Hunt goes from strength to strength, partly due to the generosity of my friend Mac and his ability to help me part with my money, but also with the coverage tonight on EjidoTV.

We have raised 1.200€!

I am going to be biased here as I thought Sands did a great job, and looked very comfortable – especially as she was speaking in Spanish and hadn’t had long to figure out what she was going to say.

Watching in Cafe Milenio

Although heavily edited I thought the coverage showed the event really well, with a good distribution of people and activities shown.

We have been promised the DVD so hopefully will be able to get that up on the site in the near future.

About Almerimar

Almerimar is located in the region of Andalucia, Spain. The nearest airport is 30km away in Almeria. Other airports that are within 3 hours include Malaga, Murcia, Granada, and Alicanti. Other holiday resorts in the region include Mojacar , Aguadulce and Roquetas de Mar

Almerimar is a great place to live as an expat amongst the expats, or to work amongst the Spanish. There are all kinds of properties including villas, apartments and town houses for rent or sale. It is a very traditional part of Spain, with traditional Spanish foods so if you plan to travel to Spain either to look for jobs, for your company to trade with companies in Spain, or to learn Spanish and enjoy the Spanish weather then come and take a look.

If you are interested in purchasing a property in Almerimar please visit our sponsors Mirror of the Sun or Mediterraspain

Almerimar is also one of the largest marinas in Spain with over 2,000 births and excellent boatyard facilities.

Congrats Sands! Now you are a local celebrity. This makes it even more appropriate for the Canadian Paparazzi to come over.

    aftermath of the Treasure Hunt.
Well done Sandra – great performance= now we have to sort out which Vet we are going to use and crack on with catching the kittens on Calle Alcor and also decide which of the male cats are going to have their fun spoilt!!!as they are the main troublemakers in this Marina. They will probably get wind of what the future holds and go around in ‘gangs’ to avoid capture!!
The Treasure Hunt certainly made people aware of the problem and I think this will just be the start of many Fund raising events, as so many people joined in and had such a great time.

Apparently they aired it again last night – so two days coverage.

DVD should be here in a day or so – if we get it and it is possible will post it at the weekend as a ’special’ if we can.
