Rio Was Actually Copying Me!

The recent photo of Rio Ferdinand got me thinking! I am afraid to say that Rio was not the first to come up with the cropped T-shirt and cut off jeans look ……

I had a little dig around and found a picture of me age 19 when I was living in America, playing softball in ……. cropped T-shirt and cut off jeans!

What can I say? I wasn’t the only one dressed like that, but not sure I can defend the perm!!!!

But boy was I fit!! If i wasn’t playing soccer I was training, or working out, or playing some sort of recreational sport of other. Didn’t matter what I ate drank or smoked *wink* I never put on weight and was as fit as a butchers dog ……

26 years later I can’t say the same! I am going to be 46 at the end of July I wonder what a comparison picture would look like then? Somewhat scarier I imagine!!!

You guys are like a dog with a bone!

As I recall I was 185lbs back then. Today I tipped the scales at 219lbs. That is a difference of ……. 34lbs!!

The lightest I have been as an ‘adult’ was 192lbs about 8 years ago.

Theh there are the injuries and effects of time which mean the chances of any serious muscle definition again is zero LOL

I have just had a month off the booze, so I will do another month and carry on with the bike rides and healtheir eating and see how it goes.

Not saying yes, not saying no …… and it may be longer than a month!!!

I reckon the best I could do would be to get down to 208-210lbs by the end of the month!!!
