New Year At The Almerimar Hotel

November 18th, 2008 - Chris Marshall

19th Updated with copies of menus plus the price of the 2 night option

I was taking some photos last night at the Almerimar Hotel for a project (more on that later) and I picked up the details for the New Years Eve dinner ….. and then had a drink or two on the way home and misplaced them!!!

I will get another set of details in due course but what I do remember is that the all inclusive meal and drinks is 137.50€ per person and 200€ if you want a room for the night.

You can download the full size versions of the files here

What project would that be then???

Will you be going to the New Year event?

  2. Tracy Says:

I have heard that the dinners are really good, have you been to one?

  3. Chris Marshall Says:

Good try, but you will have to wait and see!!!

Nope I have never been, and I hope never to go! From what I have heard they are good if you like that sort of thing.

Events like that though are my worst nightmare, stuck in one place with a load of people you don’t know, and as for having to dress up …..

Spending that amount of money on food and drink is never a priority of mind, never mind on an evening that I don’t really feel inclined to celebrate. It is just another night as far as I see it, and I hate the way people hype it up.

I never plan that far ahead, so the most likely is that we will wander round the marina and see what is happening in a number of bars, and settle on one around midnight, then head back to the cats :-)

    Hi Chris,

Are there any other restaurants open on New Years Eve at more realistic prices for the Credit Crunch?
Keep up the good work with Al Arruz. We really enjoyed the Taste of Spain evening at the end of October.

    Regards,

    John and Diane

  5. Chris Marshall Says:

Thanks …… the Taste of Spain is going very well for Al-rruz, they have had over 2o people several times now.

I was in La Barbera this morning and Paco says they are open throughout Christmas and New Year.

I will add more restaurants as and when I get round to asking them :-)
