As you can see from the Webcam it is another lovely day in Almerimar. Hardly any wind, no clouds, and a nice bright sun!

In general the weater has improved across Spain, with only a few areas remaining on alert:

13 provinces (44 yesterday) are on alert. High winds, heavy rain and snow on high ground is still possible mostly in Cataluña and on the Baleares. Orange alerts remain in Girona, Mallorca and Menorca and there are yellow alerts for Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Cantabria, Barcelona, Lleida, Tarragona, Navarra, Castellón, Guipúzcoa and Vizcaya.

The snow line will be between 1,000 and 1,500 metres in the Basque Country and between 1,500 and 2,500 metres elsewhere in the north.

Highs: Almería 23, Málaga, Murcia 22, Valencia 21, Alicante, Cádiz 20, Granada 18, Barcelona, Madrid, Santander 17.

Lows: Almería, Murcia 16, Cádiz, Málaga 14, Alicante 13, Valencia 12, Santander 10, Barcelona 8, Granada 6, Madrid 5.

Outlook

Generally clear in the south of the country until Thursday when cloud will increase. It should remain dry in the south until Sunday when showers are forecast. Much warmer again on Wednesday.

The rain may arrive a day later in the East and along the Levante coast.
