October 26th, 2009 - Chris Marshall

We are having another guest week here on Almerimar Life. This time we have lined up Linda Craik to provide some great content:

The buses in Almeria operate regular services from the central bus station to towns and cities including, Aguadulce, Granada, Guadix, Jaen, Roquetas, Lanjaron, Castell del Ferro and Cabo de Gata.

There is a daily bus from Almeria to Mojacar where you can get a bus to Nerja and Almunecar.

You can obtain more details of routes and timetables of  buses operating from Almeria bus station at www.alsa.es or telephone +34 950 238 197.

To get to the city centre bus garage from Almeria Airport you can catch the L-20 Almeria – Alquain bus which stops just outside the arrivals terminal.  It stops at Gregorio Marañón-Antigua Estación-Sanidad-Cruz Roja-Avda. Mediterráneo- Pza Molinos-Los Partidores-Los Picos-Las Cocheras-Antonio Navarro-Pza Cañada-Agua Fresca-Los Ángeles-Venta Cabrera-Los Cortijillos-Cruce de los Llanos-Las Escuelas-Cortijo Rojas-Venta de Gaspar-Aniceto-Ctra. If you very short of time when you reach the bus station and there is a queue at the ticket office, you should be able to buy a ticket from the bus driver –  although he may tell you this is not possible if the bus is very full.  The address of the bus station is Plza. I need to get out and about more and explore places when we come over. Taking the Bus could well be a good way of doing that.

  5. Newbie Says:

I love Almeria. Is a great day out. Never really thought of taking buses from there though, but is certainly worth thinking about.

  6. Dave Says:

@Newbie you should, are some great places to see, and you see more of ‘inner’ Spain by bus
