Spain Weather: Thu Nov 19 2009

November 19th, 2009 - Chris Marshall

Looking at the Webcam of Almerimar we are still waiting for the sun to shine through this morning, but it will. There is a very slight wind, and a bit of a chill in the air at the moment. It does look like it could rain a bit later.

Elsewhere in Spain storms are forecast in the south of Spain.

A yellow alert is in place along the coast of Galicia for high waves, but the rest of Spain should enjoy moderate weather, with the North getting the better weather than the South.

Andalucia can expect cloud and showers, as can places along the Meditteranean like Extremadura, and Melilla.

Some fog and mist may linger throughout the morning in places.

Temperatures

Highs: Santa Cruz de Tenerife 26, Murcia 24, Alicante, Almería, Cádiz, Málaga 22, Barcelona, Valencia 20, Granada, Santander 19, Madrid 16

Lows: Santa Cruz de Tenerife 19, Cádiz 16, Málaga 15, Almería 14, Barcelona 13, Alicante, Valencia 12, Murcia 11, Madrid 9, Granada 5, Santander 4

Outlook

The rain affecting the Costa del Sol should clear, but to leave a mostly cloudy weekend.

The Costa Blanca may see the rain continue into Friday in places, but again a dry but cloudy weekend.

Expect a return to generally sunny conditions from Monday or Tuesday.
