It has all been pretty quite regards the announcment in October that the Aquarium in Roquetas was closing due to lack of customers, with no public comment from any of the authorities.

Until know that is, as a number of Tourism related businesses, led by Novotour who run holidays for the elderly, are saying that without the Aquarium tour there is nothing to do in Roquetas (there words not mine!!).

Hopefully they will find a way of saving it!
