Recycling Contract In El Ejido

Thought it about time some good news came out of El Ejido! Arkos 23, a local company, have been awarded the contract to collect and recycle doestic oil in the municipality.

El Ayuntamiento de El Ejido adjudica la recogida de aceite doméstico

Containers will be placed in Las Norias, Santa Maria del Aguila, Balerma and El Ejido and the collected oil will be transformed into biodiesel. By way of explaining the importance of this Jose Antonio Garcia, the councilman City Public Services in El Ejido said:

A single liter of oil which is thrown down the drain 1,000 liters of water pollution. Hence, this recycling is a way to achieve a cycle because that pollutes and debug costs us much money, water, can be used by humans in order to have biodiesel is less polluting than other fuels.
