Orientation course for new parents in the Mojonera

November 8th, 2009 - Chris Marshall

Not having children ourselves I have often joked that if you need a license to drive a car you should need a license to have children! Well I say joked, it started off as a joke many years ago, but looking at the way kids are brought up, abandoned, left uneducated these days I do wonder if there isn’t some merit in the idea!

Was interested therefore to read that The City of La Mojonera, through its Councilor for Social Affairs in collaboration with the Provincial Council, has organized a new orientation course for parents which will instruct participants in strategies and skills to better educate children. Particularly the fact that the course would focus on the role of parents in educating their children.

All those interested may obtain further information about the contents of this course at the Center for Social Promotion of the landmark or at telephone 950 33
