Thr government cleverly made this payment into 2 parts Employees contribution EMPLOYERS contribution...???? My point is that BOTH parts had to be earned by the employee. Any salary increase demand would have this cost deducted from any salary increase.All employers would calcul;ate this 'contribution' as part of the employees cost to him/her. Should I choose to 'OPT OUT' of the state pension scheme I could not take this 'employers contribution' to be added to any private pension I wanted. I have written elsewhere but no response.

Employers Employees contributions. Yet both parts have to be earned by the employee . It was done to make contributors believe they paid half of the contributions only.Had i opted out of this scheme [scanm] I would only have my 'employees contribution; to place into a personal pension/health account.
