El PITA To Build Solar Energy Platform

Driving to Granada recently and also driving back from the UK it is noticeable how many wind farms and Solar Power Panels there now are in Spain. Well to be honest given the amount of sunnshine we have in Almerimar all year round and the strong winds that blow from time to time if they didn’t have them here I don’t know where they would have them!

So not a surprise, but welcome news all the same that the Scientific-Technological Park of Almeria (PITA) will receive 12.1m€ in aid to develop two major projects:

the Center for Research and Technology Transfer PITA
the test platform of solar collectors CTAER concentration.

Basically the projects seem to Research and Development ones.
