El Ejido Townhall Workers Under Threat Of Arrest

November 7th, 2009 - Chris Marshall

With Mayor Juan Enciso and municipal auditor (and alleged ringleader) José Aléman Carrasco deemed flight risks and retained in jail until their trial. El Ejido police have issued a warning to others charged in the case not to return work.

They say it is unthinkable that others involved in the 150m€ corruption case could return to work and specifically marked the card of Isabel Carrasco.

The police are threatening to strike if these workers are allowed back to work!
