Airlines Struggle To Be ‘Family Friendly’
November 24th, 2009 - Chris MarshallA recent survey by FamilyBrands poll certainly wasn’t good news for Ryaniar, British Midland, BMI Baby and easyJet as they all featured in the bottom 10 of the worst brands!
I suspect this is primarily because they are a victim of their own success! Seriously I do! Thuink about it, years ago they all launched heavy marketing campaigns to inform us that they were cheap, no frills, affordable, bucket shop etc flights. We believed them. We think they are cheap. They can be, but more often than not they aren’t. So having sold us on the concept of cheap flights can they real be surprised when we no longer associate their brands with cheap flights?
Some re education and confidence building is required I think ….. you could all start by flying into Almeria all year round!!!
