201,000€ To Be Spent On Almerimar Gardens
November 7th, 2009 - Chris MarshallOne thing that has been a constant in Almerimar is the care and attention they have given to the public areas, in particular the drive down into Almerimar, and the gardens, play areas and squares.
It was always said (partly in jest) that one of the reasons was that he mayor of El Ejido lived in Almerimar and he liked it to look nice on his drive to and from his place of corruption work.
Well it is either a act of defiance, a parting gift, or signs of the continued attention to detail but funding of 201,000€ (strange number for sure) has been allocated to developing the area between the roundabouts at the Golf Hotel and the Marina.
The project was approved over a year ago but has been stalled ever since. No date has been given for when the work will start though!
