Just a quick update re. the strays; after about an hour and a half we finally managed to catch the first female stray and get her to the vet to be spayed. She was highly un-impressed but long-term it is definitely for her own good! A kind friend is going to let her convalesce in her downstairs kitchen. I’m off to pick her up around 6.30 so fingers crossed all will be well. Seems a shame to have to put her back on the street later this week but kind homes are hard to come by. At least I feel we have started to do something constructive.
