Great night out with a few girlfriends last night, which started at 8pm with a couple of glasses of wine in Harbour Lights, moved onto a very good Chinese in the Wok Buffet Shanghai, and for 3 of us ended in the D Bar with more wine. I impressed myself as I was one of the last 2 standing at 3am, which is not the norm for me, but I enjoyed a very relaxed chatty evening, with just enough wine. I remember girls nights out in Wimbledon Village, and how expensive a meal in our favourite Thai restaurant was, how noisy (and expensive!) the cocktail bar was afterwards, and that no matter how good a conversation or laugh we were having, the evening had to end at 1am. Of course there are things I still miss about England, but overall life is pretty good here in comparison.
