$ Getting Stronger
August 8th, 2008 - Chris MarshallThe £ has slumped to a 17 month low of $1.9225, down 1.1%, while the euro hit five month lows of $1.5195. This would tend to indicate that the view is that the US economy is looking in better shape that both the UK and Eurozone, with the recent decision by the European Central Bank to leave rates as they are the main catalyst to this view.
