FREE ‘Taste of Spain’ Meals In Almerimar – March Winners
April 1st, 2009 - Chris Marshall
Have just sorted out the winners of the third months competition. I have emailed the winners and the respective bars, and will update the above poster in the restaurants when I am next in the marina.
All the winners need to do is to contact the restaurant to arrange when they want to have their meals. That doesn’t have to be this month, you can save it up until you are ready, or until you are over next, or you can even donate it to a family member or friend if you so wish. Let me know if you need any help or have any problems claiming you free meal. The restaurants will be flexible, but also please try and reasonable and have the meal as soon as you can. All you need to do to claim is to take a copy of the email with you so if you have lost it or forget to bring it over with you just let me know and I will provide you a copy.
First Comment – 2 Thursday Evening ‘Taste of Spain’ Meals in Al-rruz
John Woodhead on the 10 Downing Street Petition post.
There were 90 articles posted in the month, with a total of 320 comments left (an average of 3.55 comments a post) which is slightly less than last month. Thanks for that. Unlike last month when we only had 7 post without a comment we had 18 this month, which works out at 5% of the posts (last month was 6.85%). Most of those where informational posts, but some were a ‘victim’ of our Twitter growth – I have noticed that people are reading on the site, but commenting via Twitter more and more so I need to figure that out!!
John’s comment came up when I randomly selected a number that correlated to the post he commented on.
Funniest Comment – 2 Daily Special Meals in Mac Gowan’s
How’s he going to get back?
Left by David Jackson on the thread The ‘Twitchiker’ reaches New Zealand. The reason for this one is that it was so try, totally in context, clever and made me laugh impulsively when I read it!
Most Frequent – 2 Themed Specials Meals in La Plaza
A with last month this was an easy one this with Mac Sokulski the clear winner. Thanks Mac, but hopefully others will give you a ‘run for your money’ now you have thrown down the gauntlet so to speak. You have now won for three months, but as you kindly donated the first month to the Almerimar Strays project you get at least a months grace. A number of people are starting to take up the challenge though so don’t go getting complacent!
Thanks to everyone for commenting, and congratulations to the ‘winners’, and to the rest, better luck next time!!!
You can see the details of the competition here on the original post. If you have any questions let me know, if you have any suggestions for future competitions let me know, we are more than happy to try and help all of the businesses here in Almerimar if we can.
