Fitness Plan On Track

March 4th, 2008 - Sandra Marshall

Ok I’m still feeling virtuous having been to a very good pilates class this morning. From my training it wasn’t strictly a ‘pure’ pilates class as it had some slightly off-piste stomach stuff, but the essence was there with lots of stretching and slow precise moves, and it was a pretty tough muscle workout. My stomach could definitely be stronger, so with some of the exercises I reduced the range of movement to make it slightly less intense, which I would recommend to anyone rather than risking hurting something. I followed the class with 20mins of cardio on the cross-trainer, so I’m now comfortably aching, feeling slightly tired and looking forward to a day off tomorrow. Planning to be back at the gym Thursday for another class and to hit those arm machines again!
