Exhausting Circuits
May 2nd, 2008 - Sandra MarshallThis morning the gym was much emptier than usual and only 3 of us turned up for the 10am tonificacion class. I think this must have something to do with yesterday’s fiesta day and the fact that people have either taken another day to be with their families or are recovering from a big lunch yesterday! Anyway Damaris our very keen instructor decided to put together a little circuit training for us for a change. I was worrying at the start that with all the switching about, I wouldn´t get as much exercise done as usual. However I had forgotten how effective circuits actually are and I have to say that my hamstrings for one are REALLY aching. This all goes to prove what I have been told many times. Variety in any fitness plan is key so that your muscles don´t get into a comfort zone. Some of mine are definitely not comfortable right now!
