OK so I need to be careful here ………

Was on the phone earlier to a good friend who has been instrumental in the Foro from day one and who pretty much anybody who knows the Foro will know.

Long and the short of it is that they have told me that they are quitting the Foro. NOT because of this post as such although they are 100% in agreement with what I said, but because of a number of similar situations created by the same people.

So what next? Depending on how discussions go in the next couple of weeks it could be an interesting 2009!!!!!!

@Adrian. the problem with that is it would drive traffic into the square, which would make it look like they had come for the market.

Re Christmas market. I asked Vivienne yesterday if we could have the stall for free but she said definitely ‘no’ as UNICEF are taking part and she cant set a precedent – I dont think Almerimar Strays is exactly in the same category. 20 euros would buy 72 tins of catfood so no way am I paying a fee to take part when I have to sell 20 books to start making a profit.I would like to know who decided on the 20 euro fee with a 20 euro returnable deposit – I will hold the book,DVD and CD sale on Saturday 13th by the Ankara – please come along great selection of books etc.

What are they messing about at??? A free for all event to attract as many people as possible into the Square would be perfect!!!!! They have lost the plot or maybe it is just a few that really don’t know what they are doing!!!!!

Absolutely!!! You are 100% correct on this one, they have done NOTHING to help anybody but themselves. The intention is good and some of the people involved actually do a good job and know what they are on about but what Almerimar needs right how isn’t a market that you have to pay to attend …… Errrr Credit Crunch anybody?????
