Congratulations to Terry and Tony

Huge congratulations to Terry and Tony for completing their 500 mile bike ride from Portugal to Almerimar. Special thanks to them from Sands and myself for their offer to use the event to raise funds for our ALStrays Cat re-homing and transport project.
Arriving back mid afternoon Terry and Tony stopped in to thank a couple of the bars that had raised sponsorship for the ride, which of course involved a few beers, first at the Cafe Bar Ankara who raised 70€.
Next stop the CK Lounge Bar who raised 40€
Proved a bit tough getting the boys out of the CK Lounge Bar as a number of people turned up to buy them a drink!
Tracey was patiently waiting though to escort them round to the Stumble Inn where a welcome home party had been put on my Martin and Angie.
With the Stumble Mobile decked out with balloons and a somewhat energetic abuse of the horn Tracey followed the boys back round the marina to the Stumble Inn where over 50 people were waiting to welcome them back
After a glass of champagne and a few words from Terry it was time for the entertainment from Red (seen in the picture below) and the buffet!
Special thanks to Pam who also raised 60€ and to Tony and Tracey who went to great effort to find the last remaining book from a previous ride of Terry’s.
And of course …… huge thanks to Terry and Tony and the 215€ they raised making the grand total a much appreciated 385€
