I’ve just come across a brilliant site to find flights to and from Almeria (or anywhere else in the world). It works on the basis that at each stage of your search it indicates where the cheapest options are, so the more flexible you can be the better deal you can get!

You start the search by specifying just countries or also arrival and departure airports, and when you want to travel, from ‘whole year’ to an exact date, depending on how flexible you can be. It then gives you a list of carriers with an indication of the cheapest options.

I started my trial search with UK (any airport) and Spain, Almeria, and ‘Whole Year’, then from the carriers listed, I chose easyJet from Gatwick. The next page was a list of months with the cheapest fares indicated, from which I chose April for outbound and inbound. It then gave me a bar-chart representation of the month with prices indicated including estimated tax for one adult.

Having selected my trip from the bar-chart, I was given full details of the flight, (and alternatives) and, when I elected to book, I was transferred seamlessly to the easyJet site to complete the final stages of payment etc.
