I picked Man Utd and Real Madrid, and Sands has Liverpool and Barcelona. So at least one of our teams will be out this time!!! I also have a horrible feeling that Man Utd may come a cropper as well :-(

  3. Jennifer Says:

Nah Utd and Real Madrid will go through ……. sorry Sands!!!!

  4. Chris Marshall Says:

Had a good evening there last night as you can see on the TwitPics account. Thought Utd played really well but may regret missing so many chances.

There were about 14 people in, 6 of whom were having a full meal, so it was a busy enough evening.

Only negative was hearing about a table of Welsh/English people who had been in last Thursday and made a fuss over the bill, and left refusing to pay for all of their drinks. From some friends who were in the restaurant at the time they thought they were people that live here or come here a lot and were totally out of order!

  5. Chris Marshall Says:

    Well done to Liverpool.

Good win, although not the best game. That said I was more interested in the red wine and Tapas in Al-rruz as you can see from the TwitPics I posted throughout the evening!

I won’t be picking the same lottery numbers as Jennifer (see above comment)
Not a bad way to see off the mighty Real Madrid. I was lucky enoufg to be at the game. It was a ’special’ atmosphere. Liverpool showed what they are capable of doing. I wouldn’t think that ANY team would want them in the next round.

Lets hope tonight’s games are equally as exciting!

    suerte

  7. Chris Marshall Says:

Don’t blame you as I am not convinced the Reds will get through tonight :-(

I did think of you when I called into Al-rruz to watch 20 mins of it last night!!! Sounds like it was great.
