Carrot Cake
June 7th, 2008 - Sandra MarshallAfter a lazy afternoon watching cricket (Chris) and tennis (me), we decided to wander down to the port for a coffee at La Plaza, where we discovered Heather’s delicious, moist carrot cake. This is now highly recommended by me, but by the time you get there Lee may have eaten the last piece! However there is still chocolate cake AND banoffee pie.
I hardly ever make cakes, partly because I am lazy, but also because I actually don’t want to eat that much of it (a good excuse). I therefore really like the fact that when I do fancy a piece, there is usually something suitably naughty but nice at La Plaza. So if you haven’t already, why not give it a try?
