Busy Time at La Bahia
May 14th, 2008 - Chris MarshallI was down at La Bahia doing a small favour earlier (see below) and I picked up these events that they are organising:
- 23rd June - the 2nd Annual San Juan BBQ on the beach. 15€ Adults, 10€ Under 14. Closing date 17th June
- 29th May - Beach Fishing Day. 10.00 to 15.00
- 17th May - Make Up Party in the bar from 10am
As ever all the above are in the Event Calendar
So why was I down there in the first place? I received the following email:
Hi.. do not know if you can help. I was in Almerimar 2 weeks ago visiting my cousin when we left and returned back to England I realised by mistake we had my cousins mobile phone, because of this I have no way of contacting her, she has just moved house ( still in Almerimar) so no longer even have an address. Her name is Allie and she is single with 4 children ( all boys ) she works in a tapas bar near the marina which is run by an english couple and a lady called Pam works there.. All I am trying to do is get a contact number for this tapas bar so I can try to call her there.. Is it one that you may recognise at all and would you have a Tel. number for it….. Many thanks Michelle
Anyway Michelle couldn’t get through on the number I gave her for Debbie so I wanted to check that it is the right number - it is, just not great signal strength in the bar, and Allie said that she had got a new SIM card and they allocated her old number to it which was pretty cool.
Allie also said that she has two puppies that need homes as the dog home that everyone has been using is apparently just putting them to sleep at the moment. Don’t know why!
