In Sandra’s absence I wanted to give you a quick update on how the fund is looking, as I have just handed out a load of money and counted what is left.

Yesterday George rescued and took a cat up to Gisela which is great news. Pam and Mary are determined to catch Monty and one of the kittens this afternoon, and we have three other kittens committed to Casa De Los Gatos.

That means that the fund now stands at 70€ of available funds. Not enough to get another cat housed via Gisela. The current thought is to try and raise another 50€ through book sales etc so that we can get another cat housed.

For now though please note that the ‘well is dry’. If you decide to take a cat up to Gisela, or to the vet you do so at your own cost, there just isn’t enough money left - which in a way is great as we will have helped a lot more cats and dogs than we first thought. There is still the money in the collecting tins, and maybe we can rattle the cans at the football tournament and raise the 50€?
