So how did this all come about? I received this email about 4pm this afternoon:
Hi
I work for Sky News in the UK and we are covering the impact the falling pound is having on ex-pats, especially those in Spain. As you run a Spain ex-pat site I was hoping you might be available to talk to us this evening – about 8pm Spain time (7pm UK).
We could do an interview over Skype if you have that?

Replied in the affirmative as you would expect, had a telephone chat about the general flavour of the segment, then opened up a Skype connection at 7.30pm.
Didn’t get advanced sight of the questions, but did know the general topic from previous conversation. Sky seemed really happy with the segment, and said they hoped to come back for more interviews in the New Year.
Got to admit it was pretty cool, especially as my parents are over with us at the moment!
