10 Downing Street e-petition for increasing bone marrow donor register

March 15th, 2009 - Chris Marshall

John Woodhead from Almerimar Today has asked that we make people aware of this online partition to fund a target for the British Bone Marrow Donor Register.

200 signatures are required within a month in order to get an official response from Number 10, although mote than 200 is obviously better.

You can sign the online petition here.

When you sign the petition it asks for a UK address, but gives an option if you are an expat. You receive a email back with a link that you have to click on to register your signature. When I signed they said they had so many that they were only showing the last 500.

Many thanks for publishing this on behalf of an ex-boss of mine whose daughter requires a bone marrow transplant.

If you want to see a reader’s feedback :) , I rate this article for 4/5. Decent info, but I just have to go to that damn yahoo to find the missed pieces. Thank you, anyway!
